put their paws in our helpful hands

Welcome to Pet Assisted Wellness!  PAW is part dog walking service and part rehab extension combined in one, unique package for dog owners.  This is a specialized dog walking service that will come to your home to walk and exercise your dog when you cannot.  We work with orthopedically and/or neurologically challenged dogs to provide an in-home, rehab program.

Research shows that rehab therapy greatly increases a dog’s ability to heal from injury, surgery and conditions that affect and limit mobility.  PAW is a form of physical rehab therapy right in your home, ensuring your dog is getting the correct, precise exercises and alpha stimulation needed to promote their healing.

Our program has been designed by the experts at Canine Physical Rehab to address your dog’s specific problems and issues.  This service is also perfect for overweight dogs, senior dogs and healthy dogs to maintain optimal fitness and well-being.
PAW is ideal for owners who are away and/or do not have the time to work with their special needs dogs or who want to make a positive impact on their dog’s health.  We are animal lovers whose passion is caring for and working with dogs.  When you trust your dog’s wellness to us, you are gaining an ally in their complete wellness; why not put their paws in our helpful hands!

Katherine Manola, owner of Go Dog Go, also owns and operates PAW  She is trained in dog CPR, trimming canine nails and very familiar with all aspects of canine rehab work-outs as two of her own dogs are long time patients at Canine Physical Rehab and require daily exercise. She has experience working with dogs in carts (wheelchairs for dogs) and caring for dogs that are severely deconditioned.

Katherine Manola’s specialty is nutrition and she has the knowledge, experience and expertise needed to also recommend a nutrition program for your dog that will allow them to heal from the inside out.  Proper nutrition is vital to any health program and is especially essential in helping a dog heal.  Katherine had a kidney transplant in1997 and was hospitalized for several months in 2006.  She was told that she would need another transplant and ever since has found that a “can-do” attitude, along with proper nutrition and exercise can and does heal.  Katherine knows first-hand with her own health and that of her dogs that nothing that can be treated with diet should be treated by any other means (Maimonides).  Her philosophy is simple; exercise + nutrition = HEALTHY DOGS!
